Thoughts on writing...

Or a rambling on writing and ttrpgs. (Sorry for any jargon that is confusing.)

So, something everyone should know about me is that when I do feel the need to write, or even if I don’t, I push myself to head to the “word mines.” My den. It's got more than one bookcase of reference books. Plus, plenty of books for enjoyment. Also, just a ton of role-playing game books, rules, minis, setting guides, rule variants, and different editions of the same system from various ages. (And, some pop figures of Vox Machina because I am just a super fan and maybe have a small problem.)

The other thing I do is I mark off the calendar and get out a journal and write down thoughts. Usually it begins with “Well, back in the word mines…”

Recently, I have been a bit light on details on writing, because I have not been able to write much of anything. Been having a rough go of things for awhile. I have gone over why in previous posts (I think…) and I’m not going to rehash things here.
